'Cause we belong to the song
It had become a pretty good life for Gobo, to be honest. He'd made a few friends in this new location, and had even worked out a deal with someone that he could get all of the vegetables he ever wanted, the garden's old or excess, so long as he didn't mind the odd soft spot or two. ...Considering the last time he raided a public garden he'd been caught, this was an arrangement that was just fine with him.
In fact, that garden- the private one, not the public one -was where he was today, or underneath it anyway. He'd just picked up a small bushel of things, and was taking a moment for a little snack before heading back. It was about halfway through a carrot that his hearing perked, and he paused to look toward the exit hole a few feet away. There was someone playing music out there. He listened for a bit then, holding the carrot out the side of his mouth to keep munching on the way, made his way out the tunnel and peeked out the entrance. Further curious, he carefully crept back out and made his way over to where he could see someone sitting on one of the large rocks at this part of the yard, playing an instrument. Sure, he moved carefully because he didn't know this person, but that music drew him in. He had to hear more!
