Sitting in the garden by a rather familiar tunnel, Bridge played his harmonica, hoping to draw out a certain visitor. He had some news he wanted to tell him, and was hoping that the Fraggle would be able to hear the music and come drop by for a visit.

And despite appearing calm on the outside, he couldn't help buzzing a bit with excitement.

Though he was a bit surprised, he still managed to catch the apple. With a chuckle, he shined it on his shirt as he continued.

"Well, it got me thinking about how little I know about my family history. So I asked Uncle Scrooge to help me take a look into it."

"Ohh ho, that's pretty cool!" He had a tiny little blade in one of these pockets somewhere- ah! There it is. It wasn't much, but it was enough to cut into the eggplant and start doling off slices for him to eat.

"What'd you find out?"

"Well.." Here he paused for a moment, bending down to retrieve a file next to his feet and open it up. "Apparently, a few generations back, I had a great-great-great-great grandmother named...Mezzo Fraggle."

He'd had the bad luck to have been trying to swallow at that point, which had the unusual circumstance of trying to complete that and cough at the same time. Turned an interesting color before he finally got the bite down, then coughed a few times for good measure, and looked up in wide-eyed surprise.

"Mezzo- Fraggle?? So, so that means-!"

Bridge grinned a bit, giving a light shrug. "Turns out, I am part Fraggle after all."

He positively LIT UP, laughing in that joy.

"Bridge, that's incredible!! I can't believe it! Have you told anyone else? Do you know anything about her?"

He paused, looking off a bit. "Do we know anything about her? That was a long time ago, but maybe the World's Oldest remembers something-!"

"Well, Uncle Scrooge knows, obviously. But no one else does, because I wanted to tell you first."

Flipping through some of the pages in his file, he frowned. "Unfortunately, I don't know much else about her. There weren't any records for her before she and my great-great-great-great grandfather got married, like she just came out of nowhere."

Which, if what he was seeing was true, made sense.

The eggplant would be put in the crate and forgotten for now as he came over, standing up a bit to look at the file over Bridge's shoulder.

"'Course she came outta nowhere, she came outta the ground!" He snickered softly. "Man, I'm still blown away..."

Glancing at Gobo, he grinned. "Right? There is a family picture here, but the quality isn't that great."

Retrieving an old photograph of a man and woman, he handed it to Gobo.

"It looks like she somehow managed to get a human form."

[gobetween]

"Huh, that's pretty interesting." He sounded genuinely curious as he gingerly took the photo, looking it over. After a moment, he snorted softly. "And answers a question or two I had."

He snickered. "Not that it would've stopped them from being together, I'm sure. It probably just made things a bit easier."

[gobetween]

"I'm sure it did," he said with a laugh as he handed the photo back. "Hey, you know, this makes us cousins! Well not literally."

Beat.

"Maybe. Sometimes it's hard to tell when we're all Somebody-Fraggle. But still, you've got Fraggle blood in you, and that counts!"

He chuckles. "Hey, if it means having more family, I'll take anything."

[gobetween]

He glanced up at that with a warmer smile. "Yeah. I know the feeling."

Then, another soft laugh. "You know what this means, right? You've gotta come down to Fraggle Rock!"

Looking at Gobo, he then glanced at the tunnel entrance. "Well...I think Uncle Scrooge does still have that shrinking machine."

[gobetween]

"Aww c'mon, it's not that bad. Once you get through the entrance, the tunnels are plenty big enough! And Fraggle Rock itself is huge."

[takeittothebridge]

He snickered. "Yeah, but I still have to get through the entrance in the first place."

[gobetween]

"You know, my buddy Sprocket got into the tunnels once just by digging his own hole above one. Maybe you could do that, eh?"

[takeittothebridge]

He thought about that for a moment. "I could give it a try. Though honestly, the shrinking machine might be easier."

[gobetween]

"Getting shrunk is bad news if you ask me, but if you're confident enough that it'll work, then that's good enough for me."

[takeittothebridge]

"Depends on how it's done. I'll double check with Uncle Scrooge to see if the shrinker is working properly. If not, I'll try digging."

[gobetween]

He nodded brightly, satisfied. "Deal!"

With a grin, he closed the file. "All right, lemme go check with him."

Brushing himself off, he started making his way back towards the house.

He started off after Bridge, braked, doubled back to get the eggplant again, then raced to catch up.

Man, today was turning into a good day!

Once they were inside, Bridge double checked the different rooms, looking for where Scrooge would be. When he wasn't in the others, Bridge headed for the study, knocking on the door.

"Uncle Scrooge?"
