Gobo sighed softly as he rested, belly down, on the boulder, a bolt hole in the ground behind him just in case. He had his chin pillowed on his arms, his tail lightly waving back and forth, his expression pensive and far away. The boulder was still warm from the day even though the sun was already halfway behind the horizon, and he watched the colors streak the sky as twilight marched closer. He sighed, eyes closing for a moment, then reopening in a slow blink.

It really was pretty out here, so at least there was that...

Today was a crisp winter day, and though it had snowed in the morning and was set to snow again as the afternoon waned, at the moment it was clear, the snow itself only a few inches deep. Perfect for a walk, which is exactly where they were. The forest was quiet and they seemed the only people in the whole world.

Which of course meant that Gobo was fooling around, at least at the moment. Fraggles.

Sure, it was part that he so rarely got to see snow. Even when it did get cold at home, he was often in the Rock itself, either helping with (or avoiding) Festival of the Bells preparations, being part of the ice brigade to keep the pathways from getting too slippery, or playing hockey (the regular kind, not the rock kind) on patches of ice that'd been left alone. Being able to play in the snow itself was a rare treat, and that's exactly what he was doing.

At the moment that consisted of jumping across some rocks and fallen logs, not on the actual path at all. Sure he might slip every now and again but at least the landing would be soft? Leaping from a boulder, he grabbed a low-hanging branch and swung back and forth a few beats. Then he released and leapt toward another rock, landing on one foot and balancing, before throwing out his arms with a jubilant "TA-DAH~!"

Though he had been... slowly getting used to technology, after having been around Lexi long enough and starting to live in some new tunnels under the McDuck property, most of it was still very unfamiliar and strange to him. That didn't stop him from being curious though, particularly at this.... di-men-shun-all trans-pour-der... thing... that Lexi used to go between different places. She said it was different worlds, but he didn't quite understand.

That didn't stop him from being curious either. If anything, it only made it worse.

The mansion was quiet today, perfect for a Fraggle to sneak through with all the noise of a mouse going across thick carpeting. He remembered the room they'd been in when Lexi had first shown him the thingie, and it was easy enough to find again on his own. So was the thingie itself, a weird little box with a round piece of glass on the front of it. Gobo picked it up and then stepped back with it, turning it over in his hands.

Huh. It was even weirder up close. He fiddled with some of the controls, which made a beeping noise that entertained him for a minute or so. Peering at the front, he pressed the button on top-

And then everything went white, he had the strange feeling like being sucked down a waterfall, and then nothing.

Scrooge huffed as he wandered through the garden, picking up another scattered leaf. This went into a basket he was carrying, which was already full of torn and chewed stems, roots divorced from their vegetables, and other torn leaves left behind. Spotting something in the soil, he bent to examine a clear print left among the other, more smudged ones he had been seeing.

"Ah-hah. I had a feeling." Standing back up with some effort, he resumed his cleaning. "Goin' to have to set some bigger traps..." And other such mutterings under his breath, most not repeatable in this post made for the reading of mixed company.
