This is my fight song, take back my life song
Scrooge stood near the window that looked out onto the city, high enough in the Manor that he could see better past the sprawling grounds of his home. Sunrise would be soon; somewhere out there, men had been carted off to jail from a warehouse complex. In his home various innocent parties slept- or tried to sleep -but no matter how much he himself had tried to settle down, he couldn't do it.
So he stood and watched, ostensibly to see the dawn break, but really he was just too anxious to rest.

It was a bit more than the blanket assurance he'd said just a moment ago. Though he knew there'd be no question of it, he wanted Bridge to know he was there for him, for Rapunzel, for anyone involved in this whole mess. He'd promised her that she had him now, and he meant it.

With another dip of his head he headed out; though he was still somewhat troubled as he had been before, at least all the thoughts were lined up better now. This would let him handle them one at a time, and finally get something done about this.

Once Scrooge had left, Bridge rinsed his coffee mug and left it in the sink before heading back up to his room where the others were.

Of course, they weren't the only ones there. Gobo, who'd wanted to be closer to Rapunzel when they first all got comfortable, was regretting that decision a bit now. Like a cat in someone's bed he'd been sleeping up between the two of them, though at the moment Bridge will only know he's there by the large blanket lump curled up on itself. Once he comes into the room though, Gobo will peek out toward him, looking completely helpless.

With a slight chuckle and a shake of his head, he walked over to the bed and held out his hand.
"C'mon...let's find somewhere quieter."
no subject
"Yeah. Somewhere quieter would be nice, thanks."

"I always tell Daniel he snores, but he never believes me."

"I'll definitely back you up on that one. Sounded worse than a whole team's worth of Doozer construction going on."

"I noticed when you left too," he added, glancing aside at him. "Though you didn't wake me up, don't worry! I was just kinda, in and out of a doze at the time."

"For a while, at least."

"We can hang out in my music room for a while, if you want. It's sound proof too, so if we end up playing a bit of music, it won't bother anyone else."
no subject
"Sure! That'd be great. I've been curious about that room ever since you first told me about it, anyway."
no subject
"Feel free to look around."
no subject
"What an amazing collection! And you really know how to play all of these?"
Not something he asked in disbelief, mind; just a confirmation, in that same amazement as on his face.

"Are you sure you're not part Fraggle?"
no subject
"I dunno. Can Fraggles even get with people?"
no subject
"I dunno, but anything's possible right?"

He hopped up onto a seat near one instrument, looking at it a bit closer.
"Me and Uncle Matt are the only Fraggles I ever knew of to come aboveground." Gobo paused, thinking. "Though I guess others must have for people to even know what Fraggles are." A soft snicker, and he continued. "But I know around the Rock anyway, legends about Outer Space stretch way back into ancient history. So I guess... Yeah. Yeah! There must have been plenty of Fraggles who have been up here before."

"Besides that, I know that there's Fraggles who live in other places that aren't Fraggle Rock or its tributaries. We're everywhere, most people just don't know it because we stay underground."
